Strata Vista

Strata Vista looks like the earth sliced open and turned into art. An irregular, free-form shape is ringed by concentric bands of taupe and greige — the layers of surrounding rock — opening onto a cream center alive with colour: a mass of leafy green, drifts of cobalt-blue speckle, and swirling contour lines in gold, orange and red that flow like mineral seams or a topographic map. No two viewings settle on the same reading.

Hand-tufted and hand-carved by our artisans in Bhadohi, India, the layered bands and rippling contours are sculpted in relief, giving the “geological” surface real dimension and a soft, tactile depth underfoot.
