Sage Strata has the quiet beauty of a contour map drawn in soft pastels. Layer after layer of carved rings ripple out from an off-center core — sage and olive green flowing into blush pink, cream and deep charcoal — each band sitting in gentle relief like the lines of a topographic map or the growth rings of a cross-cut stone.

Hand-tufted and hand-carved by our artisans in Bhadohi, India, the sculpted high-low surface gives this piece real depth and a wonderfully tactile feel underfoot, while its organic, free-form shape makes it a calm, modern statement.
