Our Story
For us, carpet weaving is not a business. It is who we are.
It began in 1997, when our father, Mr. Mohd Iliyas Ansari, sat in a small room with a single loom and a dream. With patience and hard work, he wove rugs that slowly found their way beyond Bhadohi, carrying his honesty and skill into the world.
He worked long days and longer nights, believing every rug should carry respect, effort, and a story. Even when times were difficult, he never gave up. His hands, rough and tired, spoke more than words ever could.
Today, Hali Rug Company lives because of him. Every rug we make carries his struggle, his love, and our family’s soul. This is not just our work — it is our father’s legacy, woven thread by thread.
